Pad Print Operator
The Assembler II has the same responsibilities as the Assembler I position by being responsible for maintaining accuracy, quality, and efficiency while performing light assembly duties and production tasks. They also provide assistance to the Assembly I position as well as assist the Production Team Leads as needed. Additionally, they are cross trained to work in various departments in production and are reliable to work on independent projects. They are willing to work until the task is complete including making themselves available for overtime to help complete projects as needed. The position reports to the Production Supervisor at Milwaukee Tool. **Job Description:** **Essential Duties &** **Responsibilities:** + All duties and responsibilities of an Assembler Iposition. + Desire and ability to be cross trained to work in other Departments. + Flexibility in daily tasks including rotating positions, changing workstationsand departments. + Aid in set up of machinery or equipmentused in production processes. + Be a point of contact and assistothers in the absence of a Team Leader + Has in-depth knowledge and experience of all production processes. + Is engaged and involved when changes are made or there are new tasks, procedures and assemblies. + May be assigned special projects and other duties. + Requests are completed with a good attitude and by needed deadlines. **Skills & Qualifications:** + All skills and qualifications of an Assembler I position. + Possess necessary computer skills to utilizerequired manufacturing software systems. + Is able to think independently and work without direction. + Possess dependability and accountability. + Is able to communicate effectively any needs or changes to team members. **Education and/or Experience:** + HS diploma or equivalent (GED) required + 1-2 years of production, assembly or packaging related experience preferred + Has worked independently and as part of a team + Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc. **Physical Demands & Work Environment:** + The employee may be required to frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus + Prolonged standing of eight or more hours a day + Frequent walking + Occasional bending, crouching, twisting, reaching + Employees may be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain work cells _Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer._ Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled We endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
