The Nuvance Health Medical Practice Division of Pain Management has an excellent opportunity for a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join our comprehensive Neurosciences Department in Poughkeepsie, NY.
*Job Highlights*
* Global management of patients with pain conditions
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with pain conditions, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
* Utilize various modalities for pain relief, including medication management, physical therapy referrals, interventional procedures, and complementary therapies.
* Educate patients and families about pain management options, coping strategies, and lifestyle modifications to improve quality of life.
* Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to monitor treatment efficacy and adjust plans as needed.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
* M-F position

*Qualifications*
* Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner studies.
* Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., PainManagement, Family, or Adult).
* Previous experience in pain management, palliative care, or a related field preferred
* New graduates will be considered
