1st Shift Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm
4th Shift Hours 10:00pm to 6:30am
Responsible for operating the Vector and Dye Point machines to meet customer requirements.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds
Assists with inspecting components to the proper customer and production specifications
Perform housekeeping duties on a regular basis as necessary
Prepare daily production reports and forms
Assists other operators with processing activities such as components weight counting, parts movement between location
Adheres to Howmet EH&S, Quality, and other company policies
Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is desired or have a background working with machinery. Prefer previous hands-on experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and reading blueprints.
This position will physically require the incumbent to perform duties standing, walking, overhead reaching, lifting (35 – 40lbs), pushing and pulling totes, and leaning over machines, all equally on a regular basis.
