Description:-Operates systems for the removal of finishes, paint, and corrosion.

-Does preparation work for rework, application of finishes, and/or the next production
operation.

-Assists production/assembly workers by performing various functions as needed to support manufacturing
efforts.

-Conduct salt spray test monthly.

-Responsible for monitoring chemical levels in chem film tanks on a weekly basis.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to wear a respirator.
Basic Qualifications:
- General paint prepping knowledge in a manufacturing environment.

- Basic computer skills.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in one of the following; automotive/manufacturing/aerospace paint environment preforming paint prep related activities such as sanding, masking , cleaning and degreasing parts.

- Ability to operate various types of material moving equipment.

- Ability to surface prep and mask small sub-assemblies and large assemblies.

- Experience in production paint environment where the employees will have gained general paint and production knowledge.

- Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings.

- Detail-oriented; accuracy of work is essential.

- Experienced using paint related hand tools and/or specialty equipment.

-Ability to operate various types of material moving equipment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
