Job DescriptionThe Painter is responsible for painting, plastering, and wallpapering public areas to ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities Maintain (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basisKeep the hotel decor in good conditionClean all work areas after completing jobHave a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergenciesHave a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulationsOther duties as assigned or requiredKeep outside curbs paintedKeep all guest corridors in good repairAble to maintain engineering parts and supplies inventory.Aid guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible)Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Qualifications 1 year of previous experience as a commercial painter preferredAbility to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materialsGood verbal communication, attention to detail, time management are required.The ability to stand/walk, bend, reach over-head, squat, kneel for extended periods of time. The ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.Have flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
