This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work onsite and contribute to the production of high-quality parts and products. **Role Summary** As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in our daily paint operations, ensuring the availability and quality of critical parts. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards and support the smooth transition of materials within departments. **Day-to-Day Responsibilities** + Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy, quality, and quantity of incoming and outgoing parts and materials. + Paint Operations: Operate paint guns and utilize wet paint systems to produce high-quality finishes. + Material Processing: Promptly identify, locate, and process materials for job orders. + Preparation: Prep parts for painting by cleaning, taping, scraping, patching, sanding, and other necessary measures. + Safety: Safely dispose of chemical waste and ensure proper ventilation after paint application. + Inventory Management: Maintain and replenish supplies and equipment, conducting regular audits. + Collaboration: Work with departments to ensure the correctness and quality of parts and materials. + Reporting: Accurately report production data and operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other tools safely. + Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned. **Qualifications** **You Must Have:** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Technical education is a plus. + Computer literacy. + Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve. + Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds. **We Value:** + 1+ year of experience in wet and powder paint. + Experience in auto-body paint. + Ability to communicate effectively and work independently. + Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and initiative to learn processes. **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
