**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Master Painters** for projects located in **Newbury, VT.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate **up to $28/hr** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Painter eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career! **Job Scope:** + Perform a variety of high skill level residential painting for mill work cabinetry interior and exterior of homes + Covers surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting + Calculates amounts of required materials and estimates costs based on surface measurements and/or work orders + Mixes and matches colors of paint stain or varnish with oil and thinning and drying additives in order to obtain desired colors and consistency + Develops special finishing techniques such as sponging ragging layering or faux finishing + Polishes final coats to specified finish + Carefully removes fixtures such as pictures door knobs lamp hardware and electrical switch covers prior to painting + Removes old finishes by stripping sanding wire brushing or using water and/or abrasive blasting + Erects scaffolding or sets up ladders to work above ground level **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
