What You Can ExpectCompetitive Pay (Based on Experience)

Starting rate: $25.95 per hour

Shift premium: $1.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Wage increases every 6 months until top pay, then annually

Shift Options

3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

All shifts include a paid lunch.
Voluntary overtime is available before or after your scheduled shift.

Essential Functions

Proficiently prepare, apply, and verify customer coating and surface preparation requirements

Ensure substrates are clean and free of contaminants like dirt or oil

Mix and apply coatings according to manufacturer specifications

Avoid defects such as runs, sags, thin spots, and ensure proper dry/cure times

Adjust paint and process parameters based on humidity, temperature, or anomalies

Repair or blend coating defects to a high standard of finish

Ensure uniform coating thickness using wet mil or dry film gauges

Perform daily and weekly cleaning and preventive maintenance on painting/mixing equipment

Maintain effectiveness and code compliance of grounding and air filtration systems

General Employee Expectations

All employees are expected to:

Complete all required paperwork, including labor reporting and quality documentation

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Perform self-inspections and other quality control tasks at the workstation

Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment

Assist in the training and development of personnel

Perform work at lower classification levels when assigned

Carry out other duties as directed by supervision

Required Qualifications

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and write

Able to work independently with moderate supervision

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 35 lbs

Occasional lifting (3–6 times per shift) of 65–70 lb paint pails

Use of lifting devices encouraged and available

Must pass a physical exam required for respirator use

Must be able to enter confined spaces as required

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or technical school training

One to three years of painting experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
