What this job involves: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paints to various surfaces. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a solid understanding of paint techniques. Able to perform in a safe and compliant manner and in accordance to site policies and procedures.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Apply corner bead, tape, patch, sand, strip, wash and prime surfaces, return areas to working order when project is completed.Inspects various damaged surfaces (e.g., plaster, drywall, water-damaged areas, ceiling and wall cracks) for remodeling.Fills nail holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillerSmooth rough spots on walls and ceilingsPrepare, prime, paint interior and exterior surfaces.Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.Performs general handyman work.General interior maintenance - hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems and repair doors.Perform the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the building.Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.Escalating problems or issues to Manager in a timely manner.Attend work and safety meetings as required.Complete Hazard Assessments as necessaryComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.Shall complete all required safety training as scheduledAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7AM – 3:30PMWeekend overtime and availability for the off shifts will be necessary in work requested areas that are not available during regular business hours. Should be available for emergencies, assist with routine work other than painting and assist the other crafts as business needs dictates.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

Previous experience in painting within an industrial or commercial environment is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Experience:

Painters with a minimum 2 years’ experience.Proficiency with painting tools and equipment.Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers.Able to read adhere to safety labels and warnings.Prolong, extensive or considerable standing/walking.Push/pull or move/lift equipment, supplies, parts.Manual dexterity and mobility.Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.

Estimated total compensation range for this position is:

62,000.00 – 70,000.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.  The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
