Role and Responsibilities

Applies, removes, mixes, and matches paint.

Removes old finishes and prepares surfaces for painting by repairing, sanding, and patching.

Uses a variety of hand tools, paint guns, as well as hand power tools.

Spray paints a large variety of parts.

Thins and strains paints to required consistencies and viscosities to produce specified finishes.

Ensures quality of paints and thinners.

Completes miscellaneous related assignments, such as masking, wrapping, etc.

Cleans and maintains all paint room apparatus.

May assist in assembly of machines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in Industrial Paint applications using a spray gun

Fork Truck Operation

Precise attention to detail and quality
