Painter/Drywaller
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques, as well as drywall installation and finishing, and rough carpentry repairs. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, repairing drywall, and ensuring high-quality finishes on both residential and commercial projects. The candidate will also perform make-ready services, including minor repairs and fixture installations, to deliver polished, move-in-ready spaces. **Responsibilities** **• Drywall installation:** Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready surface. • surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. • **Painting and finishing:** Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring clean, even coverage. • **Coatings** : Apply Intumescent Paint from scaffold, lift, and or ladder **• Surface preparation:** Clean, sand, and fill holes or imperfections before painting. • **Touch-ups and repairs:** Perform drywall patching, caulking, sealing, and repainting to maintain a high standard of quality. • **Rough carpentry repairs:** Fix or reinforce framing, trim, and minor structural elements as needed. • **Make-ready services:** Assist with final detailing, fixture installations, and minor repairs to prepare spaces for occupancy. **• Collaboration:** Work closely with construction teams on remodeling and renovation projects to meet deadlines.Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment. • Assist with fixture installation and other maintenance person tasks as required. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. **Requirements** • Experience applying intumescent paint (required) • Proven experience in **painting, drywall installation, and finishing.** • Familiarity with **frame carpentry, concrete finishing, remodeling, and renovation** processes is a plus. • Trained in Fall Protection is a plus • Familiarity with frame carpentry, concrete finishing, remodeling, and renovation processes is a plus. • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans for accurate execution of tasks is a plus • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • **Willingness to learn new skills** • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
