Responsible for repairs to painted surfaces and various wall-covering materials throughout the complex. Preps and repairs painted wall covered surfaces. Performs furniture touch-up and/or refinishing when necessary. Keeps Lead informed of inventory of all materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties. Participates in the Preventive Maintenance Program. Completes special assignments for management as requested.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalency certificate. Requires a minimum of three years experience as a Journeyman Painter. Must be familiar with the correct application of all types of wall covering. Must be familiar with mixing and tinting of enamel and other types of paints. Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
