Position Details: + Hourly/ position based upon experience & skill level + Contract with possible contract extension or hire + Standard work hours: Mon-Fri + Location: 8210 Courthouse Blvd, Ste 200 Inver Grove Height MN 5507 Primary Job Roles/Responsibilities: + Prepare and paint telecommunication products according to product specifications, quality and performance standards and production schedules. + Keep painting equipment in working condition through daily cleaning and maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Includes all equipment related to the painting process (i.e. spray guns and air compressor). + Ensure compliance with all fire codes including storage and mixing limits. + Ensure compliance with hazardous material disposal regulations. + Comply with safety rules as required to minimize health risks and the effect of painting on the work environment. + Monitor and maintain inventory and supplies in the paint department. Track inventory owned by customers for pre-and post-processing quantity continuity. + Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of the job (minimum) + Knowledge of paint application equipment including spray guns and air compressors + Paint application knowledge and the ability to apply the paint mixture to phone parts such that the painting is not obvious and it adheres to the parts. No streaks, runs, or “orange peeling”. + Knowledge of chemical, fire, and hazard requlations + Good communication skills + Good hand and eye coordination Education /Experience Requirements: + High school equivalent and previous work experience + Painting with Polane painting process on small plastic parts + Follows Instructions or Standard Procedures + Examines situation to Select Best of Defined Alternatives + Organizes and Analyzes information to Evaluate Solution from a Range of Alternatives + Defines Complex Issue, Performs Substantial Analysis, Develops Alternatives, and Recommends course of Action + Resolves Highly Complex and/or Sensitive Issues where no policy or precedent exists + Travel Requirements + Ability to travel is essential?
