Palantir Foundry Data Engineer
Kearney and Company is seeking a Palantir Foundry Data Engineer to join our team and support the setup, maintenance, and development of data pipelines and sources within the Palantir Foundry platform. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data engineering and the Foundry platform to ensure the seamless integration, transformation, and availability of data for analytics and operational use. Data Integration: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from various internal and external sources into Palantir Foundry Ensure data is properly formatted, cleansed, and enriched for downstream use Platform Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and connections to maintain operational reliability and performance Perform regular updates and optimizations to data assets and ensure compliance with organizational standards Development and Transformation: Use Foundry tools to create and maintain datasets, data models, and ontologies to support analytical and operational use cases Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to build and refine workflows, pipelines, and templates within Foundry Collaboration and Governance: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and align solutions with organizational goals Implement and enforce data governance best practices, including metadata management and access controls within Foundry Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data pipelines and processes, leveraging Foundry’s capabilities for scalability and efficiency Stay up to date on emerging features and best practices in Palantir Foundry to enhance platform usage Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Information Technology or related field Minimum 4 years strong experience working with Palantir Foundry, including configuration, development, and maintenance Active Secret Clearance Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks Solid understanding of data modeling, ontologies, and metadata management Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating data from various on-premise and cloud-based sources Familiarity with best practices in data governance, security, and compliance Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a federal or regulated industry environment Knowledge of big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their integration with Palantir Foundry Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization Excellent communication and collaboration skills KCO1701 #LI-MA1 Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
