The Pallet Sorter will be responsible for sorting and tracking pallets for the Inbound department.

\n

Essential Duties:

\n

·       Sort through pallets in sorting area for inbound department shifts

\n

·       Remove cardboard and trash from sorting area

\n

·       Load stacks of pallets into trailers

\n

·       Track pallets being sold to third parties

\n

·       Document and maintain a log of pallet details

\n

·       Routinely use forklift to load, sort, and stack pallets

\n

·       Other duties as assigned

\n

 

\n

Qualifications:

\n

·       High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

\n

·       Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

\n

·       Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

\n

·       Must be able to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from -15 F to ambient temperature

\n

·       Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.

\n
