We are the University of Vermont’s academic medical center, a 620-bed hospital that serves as the community hospital for the Burlington area, and a regional referral center for Vermont and Northern New York.
The Department of Family Medicine at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Health Network invites applications for a board certified or eligible Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our growing academic Division of Palliative Medicine.
The successful candidate will:
· enhance the Division’s focus on Excellence in Communication quality, innovation, training, scholarship and research
· contribute to a vibrant trans professional team
· care for adult patients and their families in the inpatient setting
· demonstrate outstanding communication skills in interpersonal, clinical, and teaching settings
This position is a 1.0 FTE structured to serve 180 days of inpatient clinical days including weekends and holidays. The clinical appointment will be at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in the Clinical Scholar pathway; commensurate with experience.
