Implementation Manager - Hangzhou - AVP
This position is primarily responsible for providing pre-sale support, projects management and other Professional services or Institution Service Software Clients in the Asia/Pacific region. Other duties include consulting, business analysis, and client issue supporting, as well as maintenance and client training.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support PAM Professional Service Head of APAC for pre-sale activities, including internal and external PAM product demonstration, RFP answering, business contracts negotiation.Lead discussions with reginal clients with the responsibility to come up with the right solution for them, challenging them where needed and yet protecting State Street’s interests.Lead and manage new client implementation projects. Projects can also include Professional services engagements with existing clients.Coordinate with internal project resources (e.g. Business Analyst & Developers) as well as relevant global teams to ensure a complete and accurate implementation. When play as a Project Management role, create and maintain a detailed project plan by identifying all tasks, responsibilities, milestones, deliverables, and then negotiate the appropriate target dates with the client.Demonstrate sound project management principles in tracking time, effort, delivery according to the project plan.Be responsible for the overall delivery of the project and participate in internal and external status update meeting and Steering group meetings to update the key stakeholders on risks, issues, status updates on a regular and methodical manner.Coordinate and lead the client training process if necessary. Sound understanding of front to back systems / solutions in an Investment back office environment will be essential.Have a detailed understanding of Insurance Service products, and have the ability to provide clients with consulting solutions with specific focus on investment accounting, reporting, Operating models, Performance measurement, system integration.Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written English skills is mandatory.Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience.8 or more years in investment/securities accounting within an institutional investment environment. Good understanding of front, middle and back office systems and solutions will be a good advantage.Strong leadership and facilitation skills.Experience with Portfolio Management/Accounting software platforms.Good at multi-tasking and can handle serval projects at the same time. Project management experience is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.Knowledge of local, regional, global accounting and reporting requirements.Regional travel may be required-approximately 10% of the time.Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams in the region and outside.State Street's Speak Up Line
