JOB SUMMARY
As a Restaurant Team Member at Papa John’s, you will be responsible for a variety of operational duties in the restaurant, including food preparation, order taking, customer service, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. You will work as part of a team to create an excellent experience for our customers, contributing to a positive atmosphere and helping meet the restaurant’s goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service (50%)
+ Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and professional manner.
+ Provide quality customer service both in-person and over the phone.
+ Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
Food Preparation & Order Handling (30%)
+ Prepare ingredients and make quality products according to company standards.
+ Work in various stations as assigned, ensuring fast and accurate service.
+ Handle transactions using the PROFIT System and suggestively sell to increase check averages.
Team Support & Cleanliness (20%)
+ Assist team members during shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
+ Perform closing duties, including cleaning workstations, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
+ Follow uniform and appearance standards to maintain a professional image.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Strong communication and customer service skills.
+ Ability to work as part of a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
+ Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
+ Ability to follow safety guidelines and work efficiently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Standing & Walking: Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move around the restaurant.
+ Lifting & Carrying: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy items.
+ Manual Dexterity: Repetitive use of hands, including food preparation and operating the cash register.
+ Mobility & Flexibility: Able to bend, twist, and perform tasks requiring mobility in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus.
+ Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations.
