**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH** This role will work with the NIKE Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I) Legal team based in Singapore and India and broader Legal teams across the global. This role will report into Director, Assistant General Counsel of SEA&I and will also collaborate with NIKE’s business and operational teams across SEA&I countries and at our world headquarters in Oregon, U.S.A. You will also liaise with external counsels from time-to-time. **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR** NIKE is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic, fast past SEA&I Territory Legal Team in Singapore. This role will provide legal and compliance support on a broad range of topics relevant to NIKE’s SEA&I business teams. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a team-player, able and willing to work across cultures, geographies, and functional teams. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, a self-starter, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work on both time sensitive deadlines and long-term projects. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required. + Minimum 2 years' of legal work experience; ideally at a large law firm and/or international company + Bachelor´s degree is required, a degree in Law or paralegal certification is preferred. + Experience with contract law, including structure of contracts and contract life-cycle management. + Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating a high volume of agreements under tight deadlines + Proactive, organized, strategic thinker and responsible + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail + Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel, and ability to navigate digital contract management and e-signature tools + Self-starter with an ability to comfortably work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment + Excellent judgement, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and complete tasks accurately, on schedule and with minimal supervision. + Fluent in written and spoken English + Strong ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, verbally and in writing, with legal and business personnel at all levels. + Comfortable working with multi-jurisdictional teams, some of whom English is a second language. **WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON** You will play an integral role in supporting the attorneys on the SEAI Legal Team. Among other relevant activities, key responsibilities will include: + Assisting in the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts and other legal documents, such as commercial, artistic, and services agreements. + Liaising with marketing teams to help them take preemptive measures to avoid legal risks in marketing campaigns and consumer facing activities. + Drafting and review terms and conditions, and participant waivers for marketing and promotional campaigns, promotions, and contests. + Researching a variety of legal and regulatory topics and reporting back to Legal and Business stakeholders. + Assisting with the development of training and presentations on legal topics. + Supporting the completion, execution and lifecycle management of contracts. + Building and maintaining trackers of legal and project trackers. + Organizing and supporting the maintenance of legal record databases. + Coordinating the translation of documents with NIKE’s global translation provider. + Managing legal budget spend and resolution of legal invoice issues with internal and external stakeholders.
