Job Title: Paralegal

Reporting to: VP, Associate General Counsel or Corporate Counsel
Purpose of the Role:
As a member of the Capri legal team, you will support the VP, Associate General Counsel and Corporate Counsel across all legal matters in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the whole business including marketing, IT and security, e-commerce, retail operations, real estate, finance and more to support all initiatives across the group and its three iconic brands.
What You’ll Do:
Company Secretarial and Governance:
Ownership of organizational documents (e.g. board and shareholder resolutions, minutes of meetings and powers of attorney) for the European entities Ownership of annual filings or updates relating to ultimate beneficial ownership and other regulatory requirements for the European entitiesWorking closely with the finance team for annual statutory filings and auditor appointmentsKeeping up to date company records (e.g. registry Extracts)Working with external legal counsel on all corporate mattersCommercial:
Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts under instruction/supervision (including NDAs, termination agreements, IT contracts, Statements of Work, marketing agreements)Managing signature and filing process for documents Reviewing consumer terms and conditions and promotional materialsWorking with internal stakeholders to support commercial contractsSupporting with any enforcement actions, investigations and customer complaintsReal Estate & Retail
Assisting the Capri legal department across all real estate & retail matters in EuropeWorking with internal stakeholders and liaising with external counsel for all lease mattersDocument management: managing signature process and filingMaintaining accurate recordsPrivacy:
Assisting the Capri legal team with monitoring privacy inboxes and data subject requests; keeping relevant privacy records updatedLegal research:
Conducting relevant legal research Staying up to date with new legislation and enforcement trendsAdministrative:
Keeping various department guides/trackers up to date with key contractual processes, contacts and progress status Maintaining relevant systems in place, including legal filing, archiving, legal databasesSupporting with signatures, filing, document delivery, mailMonitoring and managing legal and privacy inboxesInvoice management for key vendorsCalendar management, coordinate and arrange internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare meeting spaces. Co-ordinate with external lawyers and Capri legal team.You’ll Need to Have:
