Description We are looking for a Paralegal with a strong focus on eDiscovery and trial experience to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks related to litigation and trial processes within the legal industry. Responsibilities: • Conduct eDiscovery, which includes the identification, collection, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) for legal proceedings. • Support trial preparations by organizing evidence, preparing trial binders, and coordinating with the legal team. • Assist in the research and analysis of legal issues and precedents related to specific cases. • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs under the supervision of attorneys. • Participate in case strategy meetings, offering insights based on your understanding of legal documents and proceedings. • Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and documentation. • Assist in the preparation and management of case calendars and deadlines. • Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals on a national scale, ensuring efficient communication and coordination. • Ensure the confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive case information. • Continuously develop skills in eDiscovery and other relevant legal technologies to stay current with industry standards and improvements. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of two years of experience in a Paralegal role. • Proficiency in using Ediscovery software is required. • A strong understanding of legal terminologies and principles. • Exceptional research and analytical skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently as well as in a team. • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with legal documents and procedures. • Must possess a degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field.
