Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Paralegal, you will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities centered around litigation and legal research within the industry. Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive factual and legal research to aid in case development • Prepare, organize, and file court documents • Assist in the preparation of document requests and responses for evidence searches • Maintain an organized system for tracking case documents • Manage a litigation calendar to ensure all deadlines are met • Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or their family members • Provide support to law clinics to enhance legal proceedings • Assist the executive director with scheduling and other administrative tasks • Archive documents related to completed and ongoing cases. Requirements • Possess a comprehensive understanding of legal terminology and principles. • Proficient in conducting extensive legal research and analysis. • Experienced in managing litigation processes and procedures. • Familiarity with calendar and docket management in a legal context. • Capable of drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports. • Ability to liaise effectively with clients and legal professionals. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical conduct. • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal studies or a related field. • Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role preferred.
