Description We are in search of an experienced Paralegal to join our team in the legal industry, based in Hartford, Connecticut. As a Paralegal, your role will be vital in managing legal documentation, organizing case files, and supporting the litigation process. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Organize and manage backlog and incoming case files efficiently • Request and manage medical records pertinent to each case • Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents • Prepare binders and other materials for case management • Handle claim administration tasks in line with legal requirements • Employ strong communication skills in dealing with clients and team members • Support personal injury litigation processes and other relevant legal procedures • Participate in the overall litigation process as required Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field. • Proven experience as a Paralegal. • Proficiency in Claim Administration. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Extensive knowledge in Personal Injury Litigation. • Demonstrated experience in various forms of Litigation. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail. • Proficiency in legal research tools and software. • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions. • High level of detail oriented integrity and confidentiality.
