Description Our client, a California-based Estate Planning and Real Estate Lawyer, is seeking a certified California Paralegal to assist with legal research and drafting for a partition case involving allegations of fraud, negligence, and misrepresentation. This is a fully remote, short-term assignment requiring strong knowledge of California laws and exceptional legal drafting skills. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct thorough legal research on California-specific laws related to partition actions, fraud, negligence, and misrepresentation. + Prepare initial drafts and supporting documentation for a legal brief under attorney supervision. + Organize and analyze case law, statutes, and legal resources in compliance with California standards. + Communicate and collaborate with the attorney to ensure accurate and effective preparation of the brief. Requirements Qualifications: + Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certification program. + Minimum 3 years of experience in legal research and drafting in California, with a focus on real estate or civil litigation. + Strong familiarity with California property law and civil litigation procedures. + Proven ability to work independently on time-sensitive legal projects. + Exceptional research and analytical skills with a focus on California law. + Proficiency in legal writing and document preparation. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
