You will also be responsible for providing legal support and administrative support for the Office of Legal Services. *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:* If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have the following knowledge, skills or abilities: Knowledge of (or ability to learn in a reasonable amount of time): * General knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and local court rules. * Preferred knowledge of legal practice management software. Skill in: * Significant attention to detail as it relates to document preparation, proof reading, and ensuring matter deadlines are met. Ability to: * Draft legal documents for filings in state and federal courts as well as administrative hearings offices. * Work with many parties, both inside and outside the Office and the Department, in a diplomatic and tactful way. * Handle multiple, frequently changing priorities, sometimes on short deadlines. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* Your preparation for this opportunity could include a combination of relevant experiences including: * Education, training and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor degree in paralegal studies and one year of related progressively responsible experience to include legal research and writing, litigation support, case preparation, or 5 years directly related experience. * Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
