Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Banking and Finance Paralegal for a growing boutique law firm in North Dallas. This crucial role involves supporting attorneys with commercial lending transactions and providing assistance to the corporate transaction team on general corporate work and mergers & acquisitions.

This direct hire, in-office position reports directly to the Director of the Banking and Finance Department. Office hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys and clients throughout all phases of commercial lending transactions, including both real estate and non-real estate deals.Prepare and draft commercial lending agreements, closing checklists, and financing statements under the direction of attorneys.Conduct due diligence, perform lien searches, draft and file UCC filings, and order certified documents.Assemble documents, exhibits, schedules, and signature pages for closings.Coordinate with title companies and lenders to facilitate loan closings.Draft, review, and file corporate transactional documents, including state forms and filings, entity formations, resolutions, consents, agreements, certificates, merger documents, licensing approvals, and regulatory filings.Foster positive work relationships with clients and staff to ensure accurate organization of facts and information.Support other law firm needs, including maintaining electronic client files and data roomsCommunicate effectively with both in-house and external clients and attorneys, while being responsive to deadlines at various stages of development.

Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate preferred (equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a certificate)Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)Experience in legal drafting and commercial lending and corporate transactionStrong self-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities, transition smoothly between tasks, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervisionExcellent critical thinking skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailProduce high-quality, error-free work products in a deadline-sensitive environment
