Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in the Legal industry, located in Burlingame, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our attorneys and staff with a variety of tasks, including processing legal documents, conducting extensive research, and managing case information. Responsibilities: • Review and analyze a variety of legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance • Assist with the preparation and administration of trials, depositions, and motion practices • Utilize Case Management Software, CompuLaw, and Aderant to streamline processes and improve efficiency • Effectively manage company calendar, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are accurately scheduled and met • Conduct extensive research to support legal proceedings and to provide accurate information to attorneys and staff • Utilize Adobe Acrobat and the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) to manage and process documents • Handle briefing tasks, providing clear and concise summaries of relevant case information • Administer claims, ensuring all relevant information is accurately recorded and processed • Exhibit excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams of attorneys and staff • Perform Billing Functions in a timely and accurate manner to ensure financial efficiency. Requirements • Entry-level position; no prior experience required • Proficiency in Aderant, a legal practice management software • Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat for document management • Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is advantageous • Experience with Case Management Software for efficient case handling • Knowledge of CompuLaw, a legal calendar and docket management software • Ability to handle Billing Functions accurately and efficiently • Experience with Briefing or ability to learn quickly • Excellent Calendar Management skills to organize and schedule meetings • Knowledge of Claim Administration procedures • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
