Description We are in search of a Paralegal to join our legal team in GARY, Indiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting attorneys with trial preparation, drafting legal documents, and managing case deadlines. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings. • Draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and appellate documents. • Summarize and analyze medical records for case relevance and strategy. • Calendar and monitor important case deadlines to ensure all necessary tasks are completed. • Conduct document review and discovery to gather relevant case information. • Create trial exhibits based on analysis of medical records. • Utilize e-Discovery tools to manage large volumes of electronic evidence. • Ensure all case files and documents are properly organized and updated. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar role within the Legal industry. • Proven ability in handling Trial Exhibits. • Demonstrated proficiency in Document Review. • Experience with both Discovery and e-Discovery processes. • Prior exposure to Medical Records Review. • Skill in conducting detailed Medical Records Analysis.
