Description We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team. This role will primarily focus on Trusts & Estates, requiring the individual to support our attorneys and senior paralegals in administering estates, funding revocable and irrevocable trusts, preparing necessary documents, and managing client cases. Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of Gift Tax Returns, Estate Tax Returns, and Fiduciary Income Tax Returns, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Oversee the financial records of trusts, conduct trust accounting, and audit accounts. • Handle General Ledger accounts, reconcile broker statements, prepare payables, and manage bank deposits. • Obtain and reconcile 1099 and K-1 statements, ensuring all financial records are up to date. • Administer revocable and irrevocable trust funding and administration, both pre and post death. • Oversee probate administration, including the drafting of probate pleadings. • Maintain close personal contact with clients and financial advisors, ensuring excellent customer service. • Develop technical proficiency in database use and management, internet/electronic research, and project folder/electronic file maintenance. • Independently manage and organize files, or delegate similar tasks to Records Clerk and supervise the same. • Adhere to firm policies, maintaining a detail-oriented demeanor and attitude at all times. • Deliver superior service to all internal and external customers, communicating effectively and in a detail-oriented manner. • Collaborate within a team, adapting to changing business demands, and producing quality final work products. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role • Proficient in Case Management Software • Experienced in handling Billing Functions • Skilled in Calendar Management • Excellent Communication skills • Knowledge of Gift Tax and Estate Tax • Ability to prepare Estate Tax Return • Experience in managing Revocable Trusts • Expertise in Tax - Trust & Estate • Familiarity with Form 1099 and K-1 • Experience in Probate and Estate Administration • Skilled in Legal Billing and Legal Research • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem fx for Tax Compliance • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem fx for Tax Planning • Previous experience working with ParaLegals Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
