Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal II in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves supporting attorneys, resolving routine legal issues, and preparing legal documents. The Paralegal II will also conduct legal research and may direct the work of others. Responsibilities: • Support attorneys in their work • Conduct research and analysis of various law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes • Prepare a variety of legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, and more • Resolve routine legal issues under the direction of an attorney • Maintain familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures in the field • Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Direct the work of others when required • Exhibit creativity and latitude in accomplishing tasks Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Planning, Procedures, and Practices. • Ability to handle Financial Notes with accuracy and detail. • Strong skills in Research Analysis and Legal Documentation. • Experience with Appeals processes and legal protocols. • Creativity in problem-solving and case strategy development. • Familiarity with drafting and filing Pleadings. • Comprehensive understanding of Legal Issues and Briefs. • Knowledge of Statute interpretation and application. • Experience with Judicial Decision analysis and application. • Proficiency in understanding and applying Legal Codes. • Experience in drafting Wills and understanding their legal implications. • Ability to handle Contracts Finance with attention to detail and accuracy.
