Paralegal II - Legal
The Legal team at Edward Jones partners with all divisions across the firm to deliver comprehensive support to advise and address legal issues. In this growing, multifaceted team, you will be responsible for helping the firm achieve its strategic business objectives. Leading and influencing through change, your work will have a direct impact on supporting the growing complexity of our firm and industry.

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join the group within the Division that provides legal advice and support to Edward Jones' investment advisory entities and their associated business teams.

The individual selected for this role will enjoy the benefit of working for a well-established 100-year-old Fortune 500 firm; and also will have the opportunity to be a key contributor the Firm by using their deep understanding of the investment advisory business to enhance the support provided by the Legal Division.

Responsibilities Summary:
•    Exceptional judgment, work ethic and integrity, decision making, and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
•    Familiarity with the investment advisory business and applicable laws and regulations that govern investment advisers.
•    Manage regulatory filing calendars.
•    Understanding of the requirements of Form ADV and experience with the annual updating process for all required filings and supplementing of same.
•    Ability to assist in work supporting the Firm's proprietary mutual funds and insurance registrations, on an as needed basis
•    Ability to successfully partner with associates across the Firm in a collaborative manner to deliver results and move important work through the organization, including, but not limited to, coordinating the gathering and compilation of data utilized in filing the Forms ADV for the Firms investment advisers.
•    With attorney supervision, ability to perform legal research and communicate results on an ad hoc basis. 
•    Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to convey complex issues to legal and non-legal professionals.
•    Strong written and verbal communications skills, and attention to detail 
•    Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask, embrace change and manage well under pressure.

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
