You Are:
A paralegal who will provide administrative support for Contract Services Team. You will assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals that work at the Legal and Contract’s department.
The opportunity:
· Compare documents, draft, review, research, and organizational assistance to in-house attorneys in the negotiation of customer and vendor agreements and other commercial transaction documents.
· Manage the review and approval process of customer contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in accordance with SLAs.
· Perform administrative duties including creating, preparing, proofreading, verifying, and editing material for accuracy and clarity
· Organize and manage documents including the creation of spreadsheets and retrieval systems. Coordinate the collection review and production of various contractual documents. Administer Legal Matter Management tool and facilitate payments to outside counsel. Maintain and manage commercial agreements databases and CLM
· Perform research and support activities to assist attorneys. Must be proactive and able to identify issues legal risks and potential liabilities in order to report these to the corporate attorneys
· Support and maintain the Contract Legal Management tool Process documents for signature and maintain executed agreements in repository. Manage repository site including permissions folder creation and updates.
· Triage the Contract’s mailbox including routing and coordination in accordance with timeframes and SLA
· Conduct legal and factual research and statistical analyses as directed by reporting attorney
· Manage multiple priorities track extensive detail and deliver within tight deadlines
· Demonstrate ability to be a team player and self-starter with drive and initiative. High integrity and great judgment positive attitude and commitment to excellence
· Handles confidential information professionally and consistent with legal and ethical policies
· Collaborate across functional teams and foster collaborative environment
· Coordinate with various stakeholders in different departments to ensure compliance with company policy in all customer contracts
· Train internal customers on company contracting processes and procedures
What you need:
· At least 8 years of experience in relevant corporate paralegal experience with an emphasis on contracting
· Advanced computer skills to prepare complex correspondence, reports, charts, tables, graphs, and forms.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat Professional Ability to adapt to new technology
· Superior writing and oral communication skills
· Excellent time management skills, attention to detail with ability to multi-task
· Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure
· Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently. Ability to work with diverse groups and reach consensus
· People skills including good judgment and tact
· Experience working in international corporations and foreign business knowledge
· Associate degree or equivalent experience
· Paralegal certification preferred
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $75,000 – $95,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
