The Paralegal Manager will lead and manage the paralegal team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal support services. This role involves overseeing paralegal activities, managing workflow, and providing strategic direction to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department.  This is a highly collaborative and team-oriented role, reporting to the Director of Legal Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor the paralegal team, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities

Coordinate and manage the tasks and projects of the paralegal team in carrying out the necessary operations needed to support the overall Legal department

Support implementation and usage of technology solutions and digitization projects

Assist General Counsel with the legal budget and forecasting

Oversee invoice payment process and expense tracking

Oversee Legal new hire onboarding and training

Manage the QLDP Legal rotation

Manage Legal team’s internal compliance and audits

Oversee external mailboxes and coordinate responses to inquiries with Corporate Paralegal

Maintain intellectual property assets including global portfolio of trademarks

Proactively design, maintain, and optimize process documentation and memos to ensure operational workflows are current and compliant

Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance the efficiency of paralegal operations

Assist in strategic planning and operational effectiveness of the legal operations team

Work with attorneys to support project and document management, and other legal activities

Work cross-functionally with teams throughout the company, including finance, sales, deal desk, facilities, development, tax, and operations

Other tasks and projects as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.

A paralegal certification is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, SharePoint and DocuSign
