The Ambulance Department is a 24 hour department with needs on weekends, nights and holidays.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Provides care to sick and injured patients in pre-hospital settings. May provide care to patients having more complex medical or trauma problems in extenuating circumstances. Possesses broad-based clinical skills including communication, mentoring, advocacy, critical thinking, accountability for self, peers and staff and assisting in maintaining a healthy work environment.

Physical Requirements
Sitting – Approximately 25% of shift. Standing– Approximately 50% of shift. Walking – Approximately 50% of shift. Lifting – Approximately 50 pounds. Must use, and require others to use, when in hospital and/or pre-hospital settings, proper body mechanics and ergonomics and, as applicable, lifting/moving devices. Twisting – Infrequent. Bending – Moderate.
