DescriptionAn exciting Paraplanner opportunity has arisen to support a growing, knowledgeable team and deliver excellent client outcomes. You will work in close collaboration with Financial Planners to compile quality financial planning reports and the undertake imperative research on financial strategies and plans for our clients. Utilising your vast industry knowledge and experience, you will enhance recommendations at all given opportunities to enable clients to achieve their financial aspirations. 

\nThis role is being recruited for Chartered Wealth Management (CWM), a personal wealth management firm, renowned for offering tailored financial planning and asset management services to high-net-worth clients. CWM is proud to be joining the Progeny Group.

Key Responsibilities\nProvide support to our firm’s advisers in completing non-client facing tasks in relation to the preparation and administration of recommendations being made.\nPrepare client recommendations by identifying and discussing areas with advisers, undertaking research, preparing documentation and compiling draft suitability reports. \n\nImplement recommendations for clients through the preparation of suitability reports, completion of applications/proposals and by making required changes to client investment portfolios. \nPrepare and maintain client files by collecting all relevant information to support recommendations, ensuring documentation within the client file is compliant and ensure records are updated and maintained on our platforms. \n\n Collaborate with and effectively liaise with advisers and Client Liaison Managers to achieve excellent client outcomes.\nReviewing client investment portfolios, asset allocations, risk profiles etc. when requested.\nPromote ‘Trust in Excellence’ by way of first-class client service and build/maintain client relationships.\nFollow the firm’s advice, sales and compliance processes/ procedures at all times (i.e. complaints, financial crime, anti-money-laundering, anti-bribery etc.) and comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA’s Conduct rules and Statements of Principle & Code of Practice at all times.\n

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nDipPFS (Level 4) is essential for this role. There is a further expectation that successful applicants to work towards achieving Chartered (Level 6) status.\nExperience of producing high-quality, articulate and technical suitability reports and supporting research with strong compliance results. \nProven ability and experience of working effectively both as an individual and within a team.\nComprehensive knowledge of the financial services market with excellent technical knowledge of pensions, investments and protection and of relevant legislation (i.e. FCA’s money laundering section of the System and Controls Sourcebook and Joint Money Laundering Steering Group Guidance).\nWillingness and ability to respectfully challenge Financial Planners where appropriate.\nA positive, can-do attitude in keeping with our culture.\nExcellent attention to detail and organisational skills.\nWe reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications.
