Midwest Paratransit Services A Paratransit Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver. Now hiring two schedules: -Monday - Friday 10:15AM-7:30PM full time -Part time schedule 20 hours per week, must work Wednesdays 6:45AM-6:30PM, other days are negotiable. Responsibility Profile: + Transport clients to and from destinations. + Arrive at destinations on schedule. + Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups. + Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays. + Use navigation applications to determine the best route. + Always interact with clients professionally. + Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use. + Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed. + Keep mileage records and repair records up to date. + Perform other duties as assigned.
