The following position is for a proposed new/future business within MPC Bus Co. Only candidates meeting the work experience requirements will be considered.

Responsibilities of an Operations Manager:

The Operations Manager must have management, supervisory and operations experience. This person must be responsible for the daily operations and be authorized to make operational decisions in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. The Operations Manager must have full authority to independently make any decisions required for the safe and efficient operation of the service. The Operations Manager must be able to perform and train staff in any operational function (Scheduling, Service Controlling, System Administration, etc.) in the project. The Operations Manager must be computer literate, capable of system administration and training, and demonstrate administrative skills and experience. This position must be available on-call as needed.

Qualifications:

High School diploma required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Two (2) years previous demand responsive customer service (paratransit, taxicab, ambulance, etc.) Hands-on computer experience and experience in the equivalent proposed Access Link positionProficient and knowledgeable in Trapeze PASSAbility to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
