The Hope Street Family Center (HSFC) was established in 1992 as a community program of California Hospital Medical Center. Original program funding was provided by a research and demonstration grant from the federal Head Start Bureau as a national effort to develop more effective ways to support young children and families.

Responsibilities
All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. This position is responsible for providing support to families involved in the child welfare or probation systems of care. Acts as an advocate for the family in all aspects of the Wraparound process. The Parent Partner provides in-home services and assists families in accessing needed community resources. Interfaces professionally with DCFS DMH court systems schools and other community liaisons.  
Qualifications
A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work preferred.High School equivalency preferred.Past consumer of DMH DCFS Probation Regional Center or similar services successfully transitioned to self-sufficiency.Bilingual English Spanish language skills requiredFamiliarity with utilizing a PC and basic computing programs.A valid California driver's license use of a car and certificate of insurance.
