JOB SUMMARY:
The Transportation Coordinator's overall objective is to ensure that transportation services are carried out in compliance with Woodward guidelines. The Transportation Coordinator oversees transportation staff and third-party vendors to ensure safe transport of campers, staff and VIP's. The Transportation Coordinator shows a high level of customer service and is committed to resolving challenges for all departments around the clock. The Transportation Coordinator can perform under pressure and must be willing to evolve and adapt with the needs of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBLITIES:
Manage around the clock coverage for transportation and emergency services Maintain communication with parent/guardians of minors using transportation servicesHire, train, and develop a team of drivers each week, to ensure transportation services are executed to Woodward standards Organize and deliver unaccompanied minor travel, coordinating with parents and airport staff Execute and document scheduling of runs for essential supplies Execute and enforce the requirements of the Fleet Vehicle Policy Execute tasks such as pre-season set up, end of season closing tasks, Standard Operating Procedures review, reporting, and resource consolidation Other duties as assignedPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Well-spoken and articulate over the phone, through written contact, and in person Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision, agile, and able to pivot quickly Strong attention to detailPREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Must have customer service experience Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organizationSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening and a Motor Vehicle Records Check. Must be 25 years of age or older Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbsPreferred 3-week commitment within summer camp season.
