Overview:

Cedar Point's Internship Program Experience combines our business needs with college level internship requirements. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to grow and learn in the hospitality and amusement park tourism industry through hands-on exposure to day-to-day operational tasks within your assigned Division. You will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and utilizing leadership skills while collaborating on group projects to ensure a successful operation.

All interns must meet the following requirements: 

Work a minimum of 8 weeks between May 1 & August 31 (hours worked outside of this timeframe will not be counted towards the internship program)Work Availability: Minimum of 4 days per week of FULL availability 2 of the 4 days must include either Friday/Saturday OR Saturday/SundayScheduled to work a minimum average of 32 hours per week Complete the required Learning & Development
Responsibilities:

Event Operations Internship

The Event Operations Team works closely with the Marketing, Group Sales, and Food and Beverage Teams to conduct catered and signature events and festivals. The Event Operations Team executes several parts of these events including setup, teardown, cleanliness, and operating activities and special experiences within the event.

Park Services Training and Administration Internship
In this internship, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with leadership, supporting them with a range of associate issues and conducting department audits. You will facilitate and improve all department training, create online documentation, and ensure all administrative tasks and paperwork are efficiently and accurately completed on a daily basis. You’ll gain experience in communication and problem-solving while working with a diverse workforce.


Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be attending an accredited college or university within the United StatesAbility to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needsAbility to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial lawAbility to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
