**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Lead Cashier is accountable for cash and electronic transactions. **Pay: $17 per hour** The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** • Must be 18 years of age or older • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required • No experience required and on-the-job- training is provided **Preferred Qualifications:** • One (1) Year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred **Responsibilities:** • Oversee all cashiers to make sure work is completed appropriately • Accept accountability for cash transactions • Assure all transactions are accounted for correctly • Train new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems • Count down cash drawer with previous shift lead present to ensure accurate counts and reporting • Check in with cashiers, no less than once an hour, for drops and change needs • Provide customer service and information to patrons and prep for next shift. Including money audits, supply checks, verifying the cashier has all needed paperwork to complete their duties • Ensure quality service, customer satisfaction, clean facility areas, and a safe work environment A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
