Job Summary

Job Specific Responsibilities: · Operates vehicles in accordance with Partners healthcare System policies as well as in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. · Operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner while maintaining the highest quality customer service to our patients and visitors. · Utilize facility reporting to conduct daily operations to include: parking and/or retrieving vehicles, staging vehicles. · Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. · Ability to effectively respond to customer problems and/or complaints. · Ability to process detail but standard written and/or oral instructions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor when speaking on the telephone and interacting with the public. · Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events. · Assist with ice and/or snow removal as needed. · Assists Visitors and Patients with access to facility to include those needing assistance with Wheelchairs. Must maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.


 

Qualifications

Requirements: Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively deal with a wide range of personalities, technical and support staff. Ability to use a clock either in standard or military time. Requires attention to detail and concentration with the ability to handle several processes concurrently.  Preferred: Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) Education/Degree requirements: Required: High School degree or GED required. Preferred: Associate degree or higher Licensure, Certifications, or Registration: Required: A Valid and Current Driver's License, and clean driver's record per NSMC policy, which will be reviewed annually during employee's employment.
