This Parkview Summer Internship position will provide the student with an unprecedented opportunity to engage in experiential learning in the Parkview Sports Medicine Department. This intern will be provided with a hands-on opportunity for students to work with the multimedia and sports marketing team for the region’s largest integrated sports medicine team. This internship allows for the student to explore and experience a wide variety of sports management and marketing strategies and operations.
Three detailed projects that would be incorporated throughout this internship include:
Plan, manage, and operate PSM Sponsored Sporting Events. Work alongside our club partners to help promote, highlight, and help run events. Work closely to develop and strategize social media plans to execute specific call to actions for PSM ProgramsWe are looking for a strong skillset in the areas of Social Media Management, Community Outreach, Event Management, Athletic Operations/Administration, Facility Management, Content Capturing and Editing, Digital/Social Media Management. Degree programs include marketing, sports management, creative writing, social media understanding, dependable, flexible, adaptive to a fast-paced environment.
The structured hours of this summer internship include a Monday thru Friday, 24–40-hour work week. This consists of normal hours, maybe weekends, maybe weeknights, maybe earlier mornings. A specific programs or areas of study that would best fit this internship includes Sports Marketing, Event Management, Social Media Management, Marketing and Promotions.
Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. Specific license and/or certification may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above Submission of Cover Letter Resume and Letter of Recommendation. Other qualifications may vary by department of internship.
