The Part Mark Operator sets up and operates machines to park mark and package work pieces to specification.

Duties & Responsibilities

Performs basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards.Sets up and operates video jet and electro-etch machines to mark parts.Sets up and operates auto-bagger machines, uses a digital scale, treats, and packages parts for proper storage.Monitors machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary; stop machines when problems occur.Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and performs basic machine upkeep.May perform lubing, clipping, or small part assembly as needed.Other duties as required.

Education & Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.1 year of related experience.Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Ability to read blueprints.Ability to use hand tools and measuring instrumentsEffectively communicate technical and other information orally, and in writing.
