Part Time (0.4FTE) Nurse Practitioner - PST - Vassar Brothers Medical Center
*Description* Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, just 75 minutes north of New York City, is seeking a part-time (0.4 FTE) Nurse Practitioner to coordinate, oversee and provide advanced nursing care during the pre-surgical testing phase to ensure the patient and care team are fully prepared for surgery. Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays, 8am - 4:30pm Vassar Brothers Medical Center provides our seven hospital system and multi-specialty practice with tertiary oncology services and is accredited by The American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. Vassar already has many of the key elements of a comprehensive oncology service line in place, including a Radiation Oncology team and Surgical Oncology Services in Breast, Thoracic, GI, Gynecology Oncology, and Urology. Our goal is to evolve from a comprehensive local program to a regional destination cancer program. Vassar has recently opened a new 696,000 square-foot, seven-level inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a 350-bed tertiary care hospital that provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region. Salary Range: $42,000- $60,000 yearly; commensurate or relative to experience.
