A well-established non-profit organization in Spokane, WA, is seeking a PART-TIME Accountant for a 3-month contract role (with the potential for extension). Key Responsibilities: + Execute month-end closing tasks to ensure accurate financial data capture and reporting. + Handle accounts payable processing with a keen attention to detail and efficiency. + Perform routine accounts receivable management, maintaining healthy cash flow and records. + Conduct bank and account reconciliations, ensuring financial statements' accuracy and completeness. + Support financial strategy by establishing performance metrics and templates for actionable insights. + Process bi-weekly payroll through the organization's primary system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management, including the creation of templates to standardize operations. + Understand and manage the entity structure and periodicity across multiple properties, ensuring precision in accounting processes.
