Part-Time Associate Research Scientist

Job responsibilities will include assisting in designing, conducting, and analyzing experiments that investigate brain function and cognition. Responsibilities also include collecting and processing behavioral, physiological, and neuroimaging data, reviewing relevant literature, and contributing to manuscript preparation. In addition, the role may involve programming experimental tasks, managing datasets, recruiting participants, and presenting research findings at lab meetings or conferences.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly salary range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. The employee who takes on this role can expect to work 15 hours per week.
This position is fully on-site: The job duties for this position are highly local in nature and require onsite, in-person presence to be performed.
1. Experience collecting behavioral, physiological (electromyography,
electrocardiography, electrodermal activity, accelerometry) and fMRI
data is required
2. Experience in data analysis using R, Python, and MATLAB
3. Experience with scientific writing
Evaluation will be done on a weekly basis via in person and/or online meetings
