Looking to join an energetic and dynamic warehouse team? Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies, is looking for candidates like you!

We are looking for bulk pickers and forklift operators on an on-call part-time basis to join our Calgary, AB warehouse team. The shift starts from as early as 3:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (depending on the shift). *Must have a reliable ride as our location is not bus accessible.*

This is an on-call position, great for students and for those who are working another job.

PAY RATE:

Bulk Pickers start at $19.50

Replenishment start at $19.75

Bulk Picker:

What you will be doing:

Set up (organize) the pick i.e., where to start and stop the palletSelect stock according to store order sheet (picking and packing instructions)Accurately record quantities selected (or shorted) maintaining an error rate of no more than 3-5 errors per 1000Build pallets of selected stock while observing standards for height, weight, stability (breaking point), and security of product with shrink wrapPerform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment, i.e., sweeping, clean up cardboard, etcAdvise Replenishers of empty pick locationsOperate moving equipment safely and ensure equipment is in proper working order before each shiftPerform other duties as required

Replenisher:

What you will be doing:

Fill empty overstock or pick locations as requiredLabel productEnsure product is protected i.e., skid is not overhanging in aisleEnsure that right product is being replenished and verified to the right bin locationPractice FIFO i.e., First In, First OutOperate motorized equipment in a safe mannerNotify the supervisor of any damages, scanning errors, etc.Other duties as assigned

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year previous picking experience in a warehouse setting Replenishers must have at least 1 year of experience operating the Raymond Reach
