Cub in Shorewood is looking for Overnight Cashier to join our team. Primary emphasis in this position is on following front end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations and expedient processing of all orders. The position requires ongoing customer interactions, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates. Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner. Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender, coupons, voids, returns, refunds and exchanges. Follow front end safety and security procedures. Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning. Follow all store and department policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned or delegated.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years old or older. Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs. Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom). Reaching, standing, and turning. Judgement/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions. Memorization, reading, writing and math. Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervisor may not be immediately available.SCHEDULE:
Weekend availability is required. Monday – Sunday 10pm-6am.My Cub. My Way.
