Part Time Cashier

PT Cashier l $15/hr. + DOE

Mon-Fri 7a-9a

A local catering company in the Orange City, IA area is looking to hire a Part time cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing customer transactions, providing excellent service, and ensuring an overall positive experience. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they enter and provide assistance with their orders. Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions at the register. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service role is a plus. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
